15 Beginner Flute Lessons - DIGITAL PDF + VIDEOS

I am on Lesson 7 and can't believe how much I have learned. I am 62, and while I could already read music (a bit rusty, but can do it) I had no experience on the flute. I flew through the first few lessons but now it takes longer to consolidate the skills each time, because it's a lot harder. That said, the process that Amelie follows in each lesson sets you up for (eventual) success at each stage. The course seems incredibly good value for what you receive. I live rurally, so it is a perfect substitute for personal lessons that I would have to travel significant distance to find. I can also practice any time, any day, mulitple times per day if I want to! Highly recommended.

I'm not really a beginner with the flute, but more of an intermediate player. Anyway, I bought this course as a "refresher" because I'm delighted with Amelie's teaching on her YouTube videos and I can say frankly that this is really a great beginner course. Her explanations are pretty straight-forward, giving you the lessons and exercises that you really need without the unnecessary mess that other methods fall in sometimes ...

Also I've found the selection of etudes and songs to learn and play so smartly chosen. Probably few, compared to other methods, but it's really a great selection. Again, less is more. The videos are recorded in outstanding quality, and all the complimentary material (videos, mp3 and PDF's) is awesome and perfectly organized in folders for each lesson.

In my humble opinion, the price of the course is really low compared to what you get, so if you're looking for a good beginner course, this is a no brainer.

I am delighted with this course by Amelie. She takes you step by step through with the video lessons, learning flute notes and starting to read music. Each of the 15 lessons has exercises to work through, there are finger exercises on the flute, rhythm exercises and sight reading the music. Everything is explained very carefully and precisely so I felt very supported along the way. After enjoying Amelie's YouTube videos, I was sure that her course would be right for me and I'm so happy with it. She has a very calm manner, plays the flute beautifully and it is clear that she loves teaching. When I get near the end I plan to buy her intermediate course as well. Thank you so much Amelie.

I haven't played flute in over 30 years and was struggling to get more than one good sounding note. There are no flute teachers in my town. I got several good sounding notes in the first lesson on YouTube so I invested in the course. I am pleased with my progress and how Amelie has designed the course. Following this course I'm hoping to play better than ever before.

Program is very good for new players. I play other instruments, so the first rudimentary lessons I could skip through to allow me to find where I was challenged. Very thoughtful instruction.
